What is the B.E.Authentic Leadership Program?

B.E.Authentic's Leadership Development Program is designed to guide high school and college African American young ladies through their educational journey with a focus on mentorship, college readiness, and leadership development. Our comprehensive program provides the tools, support, and community needed to thrive both academically and personally. Participants will receive personalized academic support, including tutoring college readiness workshops. Additionally, they will be part of a vibrant community of African American women in higher education who will serve as their advocates and mentors, offering guidance and inspiration. Our program also helps freshmen navigate their first year of college by providing support in making friends, managing time, and building effective study habits. Leadership Development within B.E.Authentic is designed to nurture and cultivate the leadership potential of high school African American young ladies (grades 9-12) and freshman college students. Our immersive program offers a dynamic series of workshops and activities that provide participants with the essential skills and confidence to lead effectively. From public speaking and project management to teamwork and strategic thinking, our curriculum covers all aspects of leadership. Participants will engage in hands-on experiences, collaborative projects, and inspiring discussions led by accomplished African American women leaders from various fields.
